The Education University of Hong Kong Jockey Club Youth Academy for Special Educational Needs (JCYASEN) - The 5th Teacher-Student Photography Exhibition and Compilation of Past Works

To showcase the learning outcomes of our students, the Jockey Club Youth Academy for Special Educational Needs (JCYASEN) will hold ‘The 5th Photograph Exhibition “Hong Kong.Storeis” of Jockey Club Youth Academy for Special Educational Needs (JCYASEN)’ at the L0 Gallery of the Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre (JCCAC) from 29 May 2026 (Friday) to 1 June 2026  (Monday).

This exhibition will showcase photography works by the teacher and students from all years, covering multiple districts across Hong Kong. Through photography, the exhibition highlights the creators’ keen powers of observation and heartfelt emotional expression, offering visitors a rich and diverse visual experience.

To help visitors gain a deeper understanding of the students’ works, guided tours will be arranged throughout the exhibition period. During these sessions, students from the Academy will personally present and explain their photography to the visitors.

This exhibition also includes barrier-free design for people with visual impairments, such as an audio-guided tour service, and explores AI technology (e.g., converting images into voice descriptions), enabling more members of the public to appreciate “Hong Kong. Stories” in different ways.

In addition, beyond the guided tour activities, the public exhibition day on the first day will also feature a five-senses workshop. Through sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch, it will help you turn everyday sensory experiences into words and images; by observing and writing, you’ll be inspired to develop unique perspectives and reflections, and share your ideas in a safe environment where there is no right or wrong.
