Leadership Development Programme for Middle Leaders of Special Schools

The Course aims to enhance teachers’ effectiveness in discharging their duties upon their promotion to become middle leaders in special schools. It would equip participants with the knowledge and skills in mentoring others as well as strengthening collegial support in special schools when assuming their leading roles in various functional sections (e.g. specialist and boarding sections).

Eligibility Requirement

The special school teachers at the ranks of Primary School Master / Mistress (PSM), Senior Primary School Master / Mistress (SPSM), Senior Graduate Master / Mistress (SGM) and Principal Graduate Master / Mistress (PGM). 

Remarks:   (1) Teachers who meet the requirements for promotion to a more senior rank; (2) Special school teachers must have completed 240 hours of special education teacher training courses or obtained equivalent qualification.
